An Astrological Chuppah

When one of my all time favorite people got married and the only thing I was asked to help with was the Chuppah – I had to take it as far as I could. Incorporated into the design are a composite(outer ring) and synastry(inner ring) astrological maps. Part of the wedding gift included an astrological reading of both these maps.
The hand painted and digitally composed design was printed on silk and attached to sheer pieces of fabric for borders. The result was a living part of the ceremony as it blew and breathed with the wind while vows were being shared and tears being shed.
